In 1985, Charles and Eleanor Morgan started a small company to provide engineering, design, consulting and project management. The company, Morgan Design & Engineering, allowed Charles and Eleanor to deliver to clients their combined skill set and a collective wealth of business management experience that they had acquired working for Fortune 500 companies.

In the early 1990s, Eleanor launched a new temporary project, assisting a global telecommunications company (and one of Atlanta’s Fortune 100 companies) with data cleansing. Eleanor’s work ethic, integrity and creative problem-solving left a positive impression and the telecommunications client requested additional project work as well as managing those resources. Eleanor accepted this challenge with great enthusiasm and soon proved that Morgan Design & Engineering could handle multiple and diverse requests for resources for as-needed and special projects in technology centers and in business divisions.

The small company’s expansion had begun. Morgan Design & Engineering abbreviated its name to MD&E and incorporated in 1992 with Charles Morgan, President and Eleanor Morgan, Vice President. In 1995, the company’s needs reached a level that necessitated greater change. Eleanor assumed the role of President and CEO and Charles provided ongoing business leadership consultation. In 1998, the home-based office was moved to a larger facility in Norcross, Georgia to adequately house the first administrative employees. A permanent home office for MD&E CLARITY was purchased in 2002 to house the burgeoning corporate support staff. The present three-story building at 3201 Peachtree Corners Circle in Norcross, Georgia, was moved from Williamsburg by the previous building owner and became MD&E’s headquarters.

As the number of project requests increased, the size of MD&E grew to 90 employees. New projects continued to open doors for this now mid-sized company as it served three separate divisions of their first Fortune 100 client. In August 2010, MD&E acquired The People Network (TPN), an IT staffing firm. The addition of this team and their clients further expanded the scope of MD&E’s service offerings for their clients, and strengthened MD&E’s position in the marketplace.

The Morgans’ integrity and problem-solving abilities continue to inspire their client partners and employees, encouraging them to give their best efforts to all endeavors. Morgan Design & Engineering began as a small, faith-based, family-owned company and grew to a solid, mid-sized corporation. Today MD&E provides support in Data Transformation Services, Helpdesk Services, Training Services, Business Services, Consulting Services, Custom Application Support, Business Analytics and Reporting, Customer Relationship Management, Staff Augmentation, Technology Recruiting, and Executive Search and Placement.

In 2011, the company rebranded as MD&E CLARITY, a single brand that unifies three outstanding and complementary businesses: MD&E Professional Services, ClaritySpecialists for Government and Healthcare, and The People Network staffing services.
